History
For history lovers, some information on the origins of the castle. This castle was for the first time remains seigniorial in 1583, when the family of Vion acquired the estate, very simple building composed only of buildings and an advanced wing, without molding, without masks.
From the old castle surrounded by ditches, there remains only one part clearly showing the time of the sixteenth century. The conservation of these buildings, the beauty of the exhibition make it a most pleasant home. Warée, garden architect, has taken advantage of the grounds of the castle park.
He planted trees and shrubs grouped by contrast and harmony; dark shades in the foreground, then ashy and tender green foliage. The estate remained in the Vion family until the beginning of the 20th century.
